The United Negro College Fund (UNCF) believes that, "A mind is a terrible thing to waste."
It's an incredibly powerful, righteous idea. UNCF adopted the slogan at a time in America when RACE often DETERMINED which minds were EDUCATED and which ones were WASTED.
Systemically, those days are now American history—not its present or future.
Today the MSM, establishment politicians of BOTH parties AND many "EDUCATORS" have quietly and systemically instituted the belief that CONSERVATIVE minds of ALL races SHOULD be wasted.
Pay recent attention to MSM, popular community "leaders," and establishment politicians' mistreatment of minority race INDIVIDUALS who even SPEAK or VISIT with conservatives.
They are publicly labeled and mistreated as traitors to their race. (Steve Harvey for one)
The same is true for the hollywood "professionals," who CANNOT associate, CANNOT perform, CANNOT discuss, CANNOT be seen with, CANNOT vote for conservative minds.
How about deplorables like us, who WILL NOT put a sticker on a car window or a sign in a yard because elite MSM, establishment politicians of BOTH parties AND many "EDUCATORS" are willing to "WINK & GRIN" at violations of law and OVERLOOK "collateral" damage.
WHY? Because THEIR MINDS are so SUPERIOR that "other" minds, deplorable, unforgivable minds and property, can be WASTED, IGNORED, DEFACED, DAMAGED, and DESTROYED at will—at NO COST or CONSEQUENCE to THEMSELVES.
Right now, there are 60+ Congressional members who BELIEVE they are so perfect, that deplorable minds AND the mind of the American president SHOULD BE WASTED, IGNORED, DEFACED, DAMAGED, or DESTROYED.
They have become the worst of themselves, their judgements final; their wisdom infallible. Their hate is so strong and their hearts are so hardened that they CANNOT or WILL NOT FORGIVE. They are exactly what they say they most hate--the dehumanizers.
In my MIND, THOSE 60+ Congressional members are ONE STEP SHORT of a terrorist who believes that BOTH my mind AND body SHOULD BE WASTED, IGNORED, DEFACED, DAMAGED, and DESTROYED.
If ANYONE is WASTED, IGNORED, DEFACED, DAMAGED, and DESTROYED on Friday, these 60+ Congressional members, the MSM, and some EDUCATORS have played a LEADERSHIP role—that is undeniable.
They have made such conduct “acceptable,” or perhaps they just avoid KNOWN risks.
It's unfortunate that our soldiers, sailors, airmen, police and first responders CANNOT.
